The FCS system reduces the need for manual paperwork by electronically recording all labour-related activities, including TIME & ATTENDANCE, PIECEWORK (Productivity-Based Activities), and JOB COSTING. Farmworkers are issued with a (RFID) tag that is swiped against a Reader device when they arrive in the morning and leave in the evening, the number of hours worked are accurately monitored. Piecework is also ideal. Workers swipe their tags against a Reader, once they have completed a specific task. The system automatically calculates each worker’s wage based on the work they have completed, e.g. the quantity of crates/ bags/ lugs of fruit they have harvested. In addition, FCS software offers a Payroll solution (CREST).

Local Installation (Recommended)
This option installs the system on a PC or server located on your farm’s local network. It ensures uninterrupted access for all users on the local network, even during internet outages. This hybrid setup gives you the security of local control while enjoying the benefits of cloud functionality.
Hosted Installation
This setup allows you to host the system on popular platforms such as AWS, Azure, or your own hosted server. The client is responsible for managing any of these servers, offering full control over the server environment while leveraging cloud-based accessibility.
Farm Costing Solutions has been a great addition in helping to improve the efficiency and productivity of Highrain Macs. The timekeeping module has streamlined the labour bill to allow for more accurate billing and the Productivity Based Activities module has significantly assisted in accurately determining the harvesting labour bill and the recording of nut yields across the farm. This, together with FCS’s open approach to a tailored farming software solution, has made working with them a pleasure.
